As much as I appreciate the cake or charity examples they seem a little more binary than I&#039;d expect from a philosophical discussion... My understanding of Strawson&#039;s point is not satisfied, although I may just be too tired to comprehend, or too unlearned, or willfully denying understanding from taking root... Probably a combination of all three and more but I&#039;m just going to blame him for wandering off topic so many times and citing old term-papers instead...
