So the Japanese are set to build a new universe, which even after repeat reading, I’m not sure what that means… Worm holes? Black holes? We’ve heard the terms but Star Trek has perverted my understanding of what they might means… The idea of people creating a black hole sounds pretty, um, dumb… The gravity’s intense enough to trap light– do we really want labcoats poached from Sony and Mitsubishi dicking with black holes?

But my favorite thing is that the proposed universe will be so small you won’t even know it’s there so we can all have cake and ice-cream whenever it is decided that the universe has been created… Like how the article claims that the big bang has been “well tested” as a thoery…
