		<description>I have to warn you this will be a very dry comment.  But I first heard this news on NPR (I warned you, the comment is going to be dry) and the author of the study said she doubted this decline in friendship had anything to do with the Internet.  Rather, longer work hours and more family members in the workforce.  I think that&#039;s what she said.  Also that people in like Oklahoma and Kansas were the worst off.  Pacific northwest doing much better.

The Internet can be a great place for fostering connections.  How deep they go, who knows.
